Summary:
We are a well-established General Practice seeking a full time Doctor who values longitudinal patient relationships and continuity of care.
We are a non-corporate General Practice which was established in 1974 and has served Cairns families ever since. We operate out of a free standing newly built surgery which currently accommodates the practices of 4 full time and 2 part-time GPs as well as registrar trainees. Our doctors have a wide variety of skills and interests and we encourage our colleagues to build practices that reflect theirs. We have excellent nursing support and are well equipped for minor surgical procedures. Our doctors have interest in sexual health and we offer HIV care to the Cairns community as well as family planning services including IUD placement. As a credentialed Yellow Fever vaccination centre, we are able to also offer the community consultations in travel medicine with all pertinent vaccines available on site.
This position would be ideal for a female VR GP who does not require DWS and is looking to rapidly develop a thriving practice in a mixed billing environment.
