Dr Rob Welsh is a new member of the RACGP, completing his fellowship at the start of 2025, finishing up in Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

He graduated from UQ in 2017 and the majority of his post-graduate hospital training was in Cairns. Rob welcomes all aspects of general practice, he has an interest in preventive care and managing chronic medical conditions.

Rob also has an interest in dermatology, with the detection and early treatment of skin cancer.

Rob and his Fiance have two big messy dogs, a golden retriever and a black lab.
He is excited to be back in FNQ and working at Barrier Reef Medical Centre.
